Straight about the limits
What this checks, and what it cannot.
It does check
- How long your server takes to answer
- Whether the security certificate is valid, and when it expires
- Whether the page is set up for phones at all
- What Google sees: title, description, headings, structured data
- Whether a customer can actually contact you from the page
- Security headers, insecure resources, robots.txt and sitemap
- Whether AI search crawlers are being blocked
It cannot check
- Only the one page you give it, not your whole website
- Sites drawn entirely by JavaScript: the source is empty, so some checks are skipped and the report says so
- How the page actually looks and feels on a real phone
- Whether your words persuade anyone to buy
- Anything behind a login
For those, I open the site on a real mid-range Android phone and go through it by hand. That is the report you get if you ask for the full version.
